The Whale’s Love Life is a self produced experiment in combining the heart of simple songwriting with field recordings and found sounds. Each song has its own sound bed, where layers of textures, sounds and manipulated field recordings reveal and embellish the lyrical content of the songs.

Sounds and vocal arrangements have been re – amplified underwater, over water and in the field. Instruments have been recorded underneath wind turbines in railway tunnels, under the pier and in the bathroom.
