Flint is a body of work that explores the creation of musical compositions by working with manipulated sounds from their capture, to their amplification. Flint works with found sounds to create an environment for performance that enhances the sounds as they were first uncovered in the open, but with the privacy and protection of the hive’s walls.
The sonic hive invites listeners to experience these compositions as they are being created, and to listen intimately yet without isolation from the environment or the crowd.
